These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Al-Maqam website and services, including hotel discovery and booking, transport, eSIM, prayer times, and related content (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential;
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account;
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information;
• You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.

3. The Services and Our Role

Al-Maqam provides a platform to discover and arrange travel-related services. For hotels and certain other offerings, we act as an intermediary or affiliate, presenting options and pricing supplied by third-party partners (such as Booking.com via Travelpayouts). We are not the provider of those underlying services and do not own, operate, or control the hotels, transport operators, or telecom networks involved.

4. Bookings, Pricing, and Payment

• Accuracy — prices, availability, and descriptions are provided by partners and may change without notice. We make reasonable efforts to display accurate information but do not guarantee it;
• Confirmation — a booking is confirmed only when you receive confirmation from us or the relevant provider;
• Currency and taxes — prices may exclude local taxes, resort fees, or charges imposed by the provider;
• Payment — payments may be processed by the partner or a third-party payment processor; we do not store full payment card details.

5. Cancellations, Changes, and Refunds

Cancellation, modification, and refund terms are set by the relevant provider and shown at the time of booking. You are responsible for reviewing those terms before completing a booking. Al-Maqam is not responsible for refunds owed by third-party providers but will assist where reasonably possible.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
• Interfere with or disrupt the security or performance of the Services;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any systems or data;
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute content without permission;
• Misrepresent your identity or make bookings on behalf of others without authority.

7. Intellectual Property

The Services, including text, design, logos, and content created by Al-Maqam, are protected by intellectual property laws and remain our property or that of our licensors. You may use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Third-party content and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may contain links to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for the content, products, policies, or practices of those third parties. Accessing them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

9. Religious and Travel Information Disclaimer

Prayer times, Hijri dates, guides, and other spiritual or travel content are provided for general informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, you should verify critical information (such as prayer times, visa requirements, and travel regulations) with official and local sources before relying on it.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Al-Maqam and its officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Services or any third-party booking. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to Al-Maqam (if any) for the relevant service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Al-Maqam and its partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Services. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Al-Maqam operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws provide otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
